Cedar Creek Ramblers

Originally formed in 2001, The Cedar Creek Ramblers quickly established themselves as one of the more powerful foursomes to come out of Northeast Mississippi.  Covering country tunes from Haggard, Hank Sr., and Johnny Cash to bluegrass standards by Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin and The Stanley Brothers, they are also able to include bluegrass versions of AC/DC's 'Shook Me all Night Long', and the Rolling Stones ' Wild Horses', including a very melodic cover of the Grateful Dead's 'Friend of the Devil'.  Instrumentation includes guitar (Hardluck Chuck), banjo (Larry Wallace), fiddle (Leslie Smith), and stand-up bass (Mark Tribble).
